作者： 李逆熵 出版：香港經濟日報 主體：經濟學 初版：2013 ISBN：9789626787397 本書主要批判以費利民、海耶克等經濟學家所鼓吹、由英美兩國從上世紀80年代開始帶領全球走向的新自由經濟主義，是如何為現今世界帶來種各種社會和環境禍害。頭幾章先闡述了新自由經濟主義的一些歷史，然後帶出這些理念如何蠶食我們的社會價值和製造各種社會問題。 個人認為書中某些部分真的能指出新自由主義的理論的問題徵結所在，如第八章便逐一探討了完全競爭的一些假設，好像完全資訊的掌握等，是如何的不符現實；但另一方面，有些部分對現今社會現象的抨擊，如第十章所說的產權私有化不但不能夠解決環境及資源分配問題而是把問題惡化、以及第十二章所講的新自由主義復辟等觀點，不是不言之成理，但當中的推論過程有點不夠嚴謹，未能很有力地帶出結論。 當然，本書旨在向一般讀者扼要地陳述當今經濟學的問題，並不能花很多篇幅去為每個論點作詳細的學術探討；但基於這些觀點長久以來所經歷的激烈爭論，要能夠說服自由主義的熱烈擁護者，單單訴諸某些社會現象或學者的斷言恐怕並不足夠，而必須有非常嚴謹的邏輯推論，精確指出那些自由主義支持者的理論問題出在哪裡。否則，個人認為它能動搖這些人信念的程度可能有限。

Everybody should read it. Al Gore sums up a lot of sounded scientific evidence to prove to the audience the impact of human activity on global warming, and how imminent the crisis actually is.  However, as he mentioned in the foreword, the words "crisis" means both danger and opportunity. If people act promptly and towards the right direction, not only will we be able to save ourselves from disaster, but may also become a leading force in the world.  Also, intertwined within the theme are some personal yet touching stories of Al Gore, which reflect the humanistic passion of the former US vice president.
